Our waste to energy plants generate energy in the form of heat and/or electricity through the transformation of different types of industrial or municipal solid waste. REVALUO systems reduce the amount of waste in the world. Our plants recover some materials while transforming others into products of significant economic and ecological value. Even buried waste from old landfills can be transformed through landfill mining.
The waste treatment processes are also known as Waste-to-energy (WtE) or Energy-from-waste (EfW) processes. When H2 is obtained during the transformation, then we have a Waste-to-Hydrogen (W2H2) process. The potential of hydrogen as a fuel is based on the need to replace fossil fuels with clean fuels in the next years.
