Phases in MSW treatment with REVALUO system

MSW treatment process diagram

Phases

Once the solid urban waste (SUW) arrives at our plant, it goes through a process of separation and classification (sorting) of the waste that can be manual, automatic or mixed depending on the specific interests of the plant or the morphology of the waste.

Sorting of the waste

In this step the elements without any calorific power, aggregates or improper ones are separated and those that can be recycled are selected, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, cardboard, etc.

In this step the elements without any calorific power, aggregates or improper ones are separated and those that can be recycled are selected, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, cardboard, etc.

From there, the organic elements are selected to undergo the Revastex process. The resulting vinasse will join the rest of the waste to undergo a final Thermolysis process.

Hydrolysis and thermal decomposition

REVALUO takes advantage of all the rubbish that arrives except for the elements that are going to be recycled or the aggregates that will end up in the dump. With REVALUO the percentage of rubbish that ends up in the ground is a testimony to this and also reduces the risks of fire and explosion that occur due to the gas pockets produced by the organic elements during their decomposition.
